Piggy Bank

While artist-in-residence at the University of Essex, I created communal activities to bring students together, such as making their own piggy banks out of clay. These gatherings were the catalyst for further conversations about the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on students’ lives.

To preserve the participants’ anonymity, these conversations were recorded and then acted out by myself to become both the interviewer and interviewee, as the students revealed their hopes and dreams for the future.
